What should the general board be used for?

The general board should be used for everything that doesnt fit in everywhere else. Simple as that. Be warned though, any pictures of lolcats will be severly punished.

It should be noted that 'General' does not imply any old spam can be dumped here and the board will still be moderated, although, not very stringently.
